Sandra with Indigo and Henna:

My hair is a natural dark brown with 50% gray. After using henna and indigo, my grays got 100% covered!! I used 200 grams of Prabda and then followed with 200 grams of indigo. The results were awesome. Here are the pictures.

Jennifer with Prabda:

"I mixed up 100 g. of Prabda with room temp. lemon juice and warmish water and let sit for a few hours.  I mixed the Indigo and neutral in two separate bowls (maybe about ¼ cup each) with water and allowed the Indigo to release it's dye.  Then I mixed all three together, added a few drops of your honeysuckle water and a few drops of almond oil and mixed and let sit about 5-10 minutes in the slightly warm from dinner oven and applied.  I only let it sit about 2.5 hours since I was nervous about being too red.  These pics were taken about 3 days after application."

"Here are before & after pictures of both Suzanne & I the first time we used Kimia. You can really see the color change and we are both really pleased with the results.   To obtain this color, in our recipe we just used Kimia henna powder, black walnut powder (small amount), rosewater, and lemon juice.  We don't really measure...just mix in our ingredients until it's got the correct consistency.  Then we let it sit overnight on a heating pad set to low.  We usually leave it on our hair four to six hours, while we decorate our feet & hands with leftover paste and watch Johnny Depp movies.  We're not quite sure you'd get the same color without Johnny Depp, but someone is welcome to try... :)"

Henna application information:

I have used boxed henna and herbal/henna of various brands for a couple of years now. I am cautious by nature, so even though I have light golden brown hair with red highlights, my first choice of color was "Golden Blonde." I moved on the Marigold, and then Strawberry. I began mixing Auburn and Mahogany, and finally Red and Mahogany. Finally, at long last, I decided to try pure and natural henna from EveryDay Mehndi. I used one 100 gr package of Prabda.

The consistency is so smooth, and it has a jelly like consistency to it. Because my hair already had a red tone to it from previous using a mixture of red and mahogany, my cautious nature kicked in again. I decided to mix and apply the henna rather than wait and allow the henna to cure. I mixed a 50/50 mixture of orange juice and warm distilled water. I added enough liquid to make a thickish paste. It was not too dry, nor wet enough to leak liquid.

I stood over a bathroom rug, put on some plastic gloves and began to apply. With the first swipe of henna, I realized with much joy, that this was so much easier to apply than any other henna I've ever used! It just slides right over the hair. It was more gel like, rather than mud like. I applied it so much faster, and with less henna than ever before. I was amazed, and so happily suprised!

Fox's hair in outdoor lighting (Click to enlarge in new window)I wrapped my hair up into a sort of bun on the top of my head, then covered my hair with a plastic processing cap. It's like the thin shower caps you get at a hotel. I put on a heating cap for 30 minutes, and then removed it. I let the henna stay on my hair for an additional hour and a half.

The rinsing process was much easier as well. I did not need a comb or anything other than the water and some conditioner to rinse my hair well. Again... the ease of this compared to other hennas just blew me away!

I applied a leave in conditioner to my hair and allowed it to air dry. I was surprised at just how red my hair was, shocked even. However, after my hair oxidized, I loved the color. It's been one week now, and I really love the color!

I have to say that this is the finest henna I have ever used before! Thank you so much!
