Design InspirationsThis section is designed to give you inspiration for your henna designs. Henna design inspiration can come from many and any source. All around you are designs, motifs and patterns. After working with your own designs or borrowing from designs of others for a while, you will begin to see potentiality for a henna creation every place you go and in everything you see. This section will be updated and changed frequently with inspiration from sources I find. This first contribution is from a collection of Adinkra symbols from Ghana. I have used these symbols in my artwork since early 1980 when first introduced to them by a professor at Howard University. He also gifted me with his poster containing many of the designs here and their meanings. Since that time he has come to be known as the authority on Adinkra Symbols and their meanings.
